The
Dental SideKick program comes on 3 CDs that can be easily loaded onto
individual PCs, or onto a local server. Once loaded, apply the
programs key code to activate.
Complete load
instructions are as follows...
Tech support is available by calling (916) 988-2323 for all
installation help/questions.
1) Insert the first
disc labeled "Disc 1 of 3" into your computer's CD-ROM drive. The
installation wizard should appear automatically.
NOTE:
If the installation does not automatically run, you will need to
launch it by:
- Going to "My Computer"
- Double-click on the CD-ROM drive that says "SideKick
1 of 3" and the program will
load.
2) At the
installation wizard, you will need to:
- Agree to the Software License Agreement
- Select an installation path.
NOTE:
The installation path defaults to
your computer's C:\ drive. If you are installing it on a server, make
sure you change this path to your locally shared drive. If you are
unsure, you may need to contact your IT person.
3) The program will
then start to load...

Once the SideKick 1 of 3 disc successfully loads, a message will
appear instructing you to insert the next installation CD. - Remove
the SideKick 1 of 3 disc and insert the SideKick 2 of 3 disc. Once
this is done, press the "OK"
button and installation will resume.
NOTE:
Once this disc is inserted into your CD-ROM drive, a pop-up window may
appear. It is advised that you simply close this window.

Once the SideKick 2 of 3 disc successfully loads, a message will
appear instructing you to insert the next installation CD. - Remove
the SideKick 2 of 3 disc and insert the SideKick 3 of 3 disc. Once
this is done, press the "OK"
button and installation will resume.
NOTE: Once this disc is
inserted into your CD-ROM drive, a pop-up window may appear. It is
advised that you simply close this window.
6) When all 3 CDs
have successfully loaded, the Dental SideKick will automatically
launch and prompt for a User Name and Key Code. Type in the user name
and key code then press "Validate"
7) The
Dental SideKick will activate and is ready to use.
SERVER
INSTALLATION:
If you are installing the Dental SideKick program on a server, you
will need to create a shortcut to all oporatory computers as well as
type in key codes for those computers. IF you have many oporatory
rooms, call us at (916) 988-2323 and ask about a program with the key
code pre-installed.
NOT ABLE TO LOAD
PROGRAM: There may be
compatibility issues with certain CD-ROM drives and the discs used to
install the Dental SideKick. If you are having trouble getting the
program to load call our tech support center at (916) 988-2323. If it
is determined that there is a compatibility issue, we will express a
USB Thumb Drive with the program on it to be installed that way.
